What's up, Marketers! This is Aazar.
This newsletter is about leveling up your creative strategy and media buying skills by analyzing the best brands' paid strategy, tactics, positioning, and value props.
This newsletter is divided into:
Sharing what I've learned about (this issue)
Sometimes sharing some other performance marketers’ lessons with you
And I analyze & compare the best ads on the internet
I built these skills for myself. My first instinct was to keep them private, use them for my own clients, and leave it at that.
But the output is too good to sit on. And at the end of the day, AI doesn’t have a good judgment, experience, and taste to compete with me.
If you did this manually, here is what it looks like: 15 browser tabs, Amazon reviews, Reddit threads, YouTube notes, everything dumped into a Google Doc, then an attempt to make sense of it all.
It takes four to five hours minimum. Closer to seven if you want it done properly. And you would still likely miss the most important part: the content gap.
I did it in under 30 minutes. The full output is at the bottom of this email.
Here is exactly what I ran, using one product as the example: golden milk latte.
Note: Please understand that I had to do it quickly for the sake of the example, so I haven't given a detailed prompt to the AI while using these skills. However, the more detailed your prompt is about the product and the inputs, the better the results will be for you.
Also, I created this with Fable, but then they banned so it still works with Opus, it would just be less automated. If you don’t 100% get it to work, let me know. I’ll turn into a free training for all.
Let us get into them one by one.
REVIEW MINING
Topic: What verified buyers say about golden milk lattes and the closest competitors
Skill: Review Researcher

Inputs Required:
Product name, what it does, and what makes it different
Who your buyer is (age, problem they have, awareness level)
Which platforms to mine (Amazon, Trustpilot, G2, App Store)
Competitor brand names if you have them
Notion database URL for the output (optional)
Output: 60+ tagged reviews from Amazon and Trustpilot, sorted by pain point, desire, objection, and transformation story. Every entry includes the star rating and a direct source link.
Here’s what I think about this:
Some of the angles, I always thought that they were nice to have, but I never gave it a try.
I’ve been overly relying on my reviews, so I love that it went ahead on Amazon and other sources to expand my angles and ideas.
REDDIT RESEARCH
Topic: Raw community sentiment around turmeric supplements, wellness drinks, and morning routine identity
Skill: Reddit Researcher
Inputs Required:
Product description and category
How your audience describes themselves (not just what they buy)
Competitor names and adjacent products
Notion database URL
Output: Subreddit analysis with verbatim quotes, upvote counts, a pain point map, and an objection bank.
Commentary:
I love Reddit, but sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the thread in their. This research confirmed that Amazon reviews & angles are correct. I feel more confident leaning into these angles.
The 2 pm crash is something I’ve never talked about for my brand, so definitely a unique angle.
Thanks to my partners, Atria, they perfectly fill the gap of AI automation because I am as short on these skills and Atria does better.
Claude is still not intelligent enough to understand your account and campaigns, watch videos, figure out an audience from your ads, so Atria fits here perfectly imo.
You can now build on the open Model Context Protocol, the Atria MCP Server works with Claude, ChatGPT and any other MCP-compatible AI assistant. Once connected, you can work with your advertising data conversationally:
Competitive research — explore the Atria Ad Library, pull ads from any brand (AG1, Grüns, your top competitor…) and have AI break down hooks, formats, and messaging trends.
Your own accounts — ask questions like "which creatives drove the best ROAS last month?" and get instant, visual answers from your connected ad accounts.
Creative generation — go from insight to output: generate new image ad concepts informed by what's actually working in your category.
Reports on demand — turn any analysis into a polished, shareable report in seconds.
Getting started takes under a minute — follow the quickstart guide: https://docs.tryatria.com/docs/mcp-quickstart
YOUTUBE ANALYSIS
Topic: Creator hooks and comment sections for turmeric, golden milk, and anti-inflammatory content
Skill: YouTube Ad Researcher

Inputs Required:
Product description
Audience awareness level (are they already searching for this, or discovering it for the first time?)
Notion database URL (optional)
Output: 15 videos analyzed, 150+ comments extracted and tagged, and a table of high-value channels to monitor.
Commentary:
Comments with 200+ likes on gut health videos tell you what thousands of viewers were thinking but did not type.
For our golden milk latte, I see people say that they didn’t see the benefits, and this research now finally helped me figure out why. They’ve been drinking it wrong. This angle is unique compared to the other two research.
I like her some new audience suggestions: New moms & postpartum recovery idea. Turmeric does help with inflammation a lot. This will help us scale the account.
(This was my favorite for the deep research cowork did)
Topic: What is going viral right now in the chai latte (or golden Milk) space on Instagram
Skill: Social Trend Researcher

Inputs Required:
Specific topic description (not "wellness drinks" but "turmeric lattes for women over 35")
Creator handles already performing well in your space (optional but sharpens results fast)
Notion database URL (Optional)

Note: For this example, I selected Quick Research. If you want, you could do deep research with this skill; it would analyze 40-60 pieces of content.
Output: Viral content analysis with hooks, format types, engagement numbers, and an audience language bank from top comments.
Commentary:
A UGC format was performing at 5x the baseline average. The hook was almost offensively simple. Do not skip the simple ones.
Love different visual hooks I couldn’t find in general. I have done manual research but these never came to my feed before. AMAZING!
THE THREE HARDEST PARTS
The four steps above collect the data. Now, these three steps turn it into something you can actually use.
1. Content Gap Analysis
Skill: Content Gap Analysis

Inputs Required:
All research databases from the steps above (reviews, Reddit, YouTube, social trends)
Your current ad angles, or a connected ad account
Without these, the skill has nothing to compare against and will not surface anything useful
Output: Priority 1, 2, and 3 gaps, each with a creative brief, source evidence, verbatim quotes, and a draft hook.
Commentary:
The priority based on the content gap analysis in the link above is indeed on point. I feel like my next 2-3 weeks are done, we’ll try these new angles to find better and different audience instead of just sticking to inflammation and sleep.
2. High-Value Opportunities
This comes directly out of the gap analysis. Every gap is ranked by how many sources confirmed it. Highest confidence gaps go first. No prioritization required on your end.
3. Ad Scripts
Skill: Ad Scripter

Inputs Required:
Priority 1 and 2 gaps from the content gap analysis
Platform you are running on (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn)
Ad format (UGC, direct response, testimonial, demo)
Your tone and voice: examples of your copy, a brand voice doc, or a short description of how you talk to your audience
Output: Full script in labelled, timed sections. Each angle is tagged to its research source and the objection it pre-empts.
Commentary:
I don’t love the script but this is due to AI being AI. Good start I would here only advice become a ruthless copy editor with these scripts. This is where judgement and taste come in.
The tone and voice input are what most people skip. It is also why most AI scripts sound like everyone else's. Feed it real examples of your writing and the output changes significantly.
Complete Pipeline Skill
Here is a link to the complete pipeline skill, which takes the necessary inputs and does all the work for you in one go.
Before you use the skill, however, you will have to complete all the research and then try it.
Please reply to this email if you really tried, and like this, it took me 30+ hours to come up with this full flow to help you. Let me know if a video training would help you to make full use of this workflow.
